Remediation

Protection of our water courses - including groundwater, is becoming ever more important to our society. CatalySystems N600 & N1200 range of mobile and fixed photocatalytic reactor systems has the capability to treat many of the hazardous, soluble contaminants such as Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs); solvents; wood-preservatives; herbicides & pesticides.

Environmental Remediation

Sustainable Solutions

Modular

Low carbon footprint

Low O&M costs

Save on disposal costs

Savings on chemical usage

Future-proof against emerging contaminants & regulations

Utilising a naturally occurring catalytic material in the presence of light, the  N1200 & N600 wil cost-effectively destroy a wide spectrum of water-borne contaminants. Unlike traditional methods, do not generate a concentrated waste stream to dispose of.

With the N600 mobile field unit, you can deploy to any incident or schedule for planned remediation work.

Contaminant

Examples

Solvents

Trichloroethylene; percloroethylene

Herbicides / biocides

DDT; parathion; aldrin;

VOCs / hydrocarbons

BTEX*; Alkanes etc

Other Compounds

Ethanol; glycols; Phenols; POPs; PCBs

Pollution Facts
Most pollution incidents are the result of ignorance, apathy or neglect of basic procedure.

The N1200 range of advanced photocatalytic reactors can act as a complementary, water polishing, or ‘Tertiary’ treatment system to existing industrial waste water treatment plants.

In newly specified water treatment systems, the modular N1200 waste-water treatment system is best employed as a sustainable, low-energy substitute for other, more costly traditional water treatment technologies such as reverse osmosis (RO); activated carbon (GAC); ozonation; chemical treatment systems for example.
